1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everything you upload to and create with GenShot. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using the service you agree to follow the rules below; accounts that violate them are suspended or terminated.
2. Permitted use
GenShot is a photo-editing service for photographs you have the rights to: your own photos, or photos of other people who have given you their explicit consent. Permitted uses include professional portraits and headshots, background and outfit changes, photo enhancement, product photos and photo animations.
3. Prohibited content and uses
You must not upload, create or attempt to create:
- Sexual or suggestive content: pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, NSFW or nude imagery of any kind, including uncensored or «unfiltered» content;
- Content involving minors: any sexualised, exploitative or abusive content involving anyone under 18;
- Non-consensual likeness: images of a real person created or edited without that person's explicit consent, including impersonation and misleading «deepfake»-style imagery — the service intentionally provides no face-swap functionality;
- Unlawful or harmful content: content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent, or that promotes illegal activity;
- Intellectual-property infringement: processing images you do not have rights to, or removing watermarks or other rights-management information from third-party content;
- Deceptive use: presenting generated images as authentic photographs in contexts where that misleads (fraud, fake documents, fake evidence);
- Abuse of the service: attempts to bypass content moderation, automated scraping, reselling access, or interfering with the service.
4. Enforcement
Every generation request passes automated content moderation before processing; requests that violate this policy are blocked. We review flagged activity and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content and, where required, report unlawful material to the relevant authorities. Credits spent on blocked requests may not be refunded where the violation was intentional.
5. Reporting
If you believe content created with GenShot violates this policy or uses your likeness without consent, contact us at support@genshot.ru — we review such reports with priority.
